My name is Nathan, and I’d like to share a little about why I started RSRT.
It took me years to build the courage and self-belief to start a business. Like so many people, I felt stuck in my 9–5 and had no idea what I wanted to do next. Eventually, that feeling became so overwhelming that I decided to make a change.
I spent years watching people around me build businesses. Some successful, some not so much. I used to think these people were just natural born entrepreneurs. But I eventually realised that with a growth mindset, the right instruction and a willingness to embrace risk, anyone can learn the skills required to become an entrepreneur.
So why did I choose to start a clothing business?
Here’s a little about my background: I was born and raised in the UK and moved to Australia’s Gold Coast in my early twenties. Like many men in my situation, I struggled to find clothing that matched my personal taste. European brands were hard to come by, and local styles leaned toward more casual attire like board shorts and singlets, which didn’t fit my aesthetic or lifestyle.
Ordering from Europe wasn’t ideal either. With long delivery times, slow returns, out-of-season stock, it was difficult to find the styles I wanted when I needed them.
RSRT was created to solve these problems by providing high-quality, breathable, European-inspired clothing all year-round, which makes it the ideal brand if you’re looking for some resort wear for your next holiday or simply updating your wardrobe for summer.
